Silly String
This is an "older" photo, and by older I mean about a week old. It was our first real snow. The way it was coming down though, it looks like silly string flying around. Guess mother Nature was having a party.Monday, November 24, 2008
Bundle Up
It is almost one month until Christmas, so I had to bring out some Christmas and wintry decorations! I'm not sure what it is, but I really like the way the beat up stairs look in this photo.Friday, November 21, 2008

Up, Up and Away!
Oh how I wish to be on a plane, flying to any of the sunny places. Think I will try to sneak into a friends suitcase next week leaving for Mexico.Wednesday, November 19, 2008

Lest We Forget
In Flanders FieldsBy: Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD (1872-1918) Canadian Army
IN FLANDERS FIELDS the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead.
Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
